Craig cut his teeth in psych rock band The Valkarys and now fronts his own project Birrell or Biscuit - where genius and madness combine.
Mad as a hatter / a loveable rogue. He's a Libertine who'll start a conversation, a gig, or absolute chaos without warning - and somehow make it all work.
He’s hosts the weekly open mic every Wednesday at Islington Arts Club. If you’ve got something to say, he’ll give you a mic, a room, and probably a bit of encouragement if he's in a good mood.
Stuart Barrett
Co-founder - Based in Columbus / USA
Started Whanga in Dunfermline, Scotland with Craig, then thought ''what if we made this harder'' and moved to Ohio. Now building the US side of the label, one gig, one record, and one questionable life choice at a time.
Formerly of The 1/4 Chubz. Full time record buyer, part time adult.
Lauren Hind
Chaos Co-ordinator - Based in Dunfermline / Scotland
Runs the show up in Dunfermline. Proper doer. No fluff.
Lauren’s putting on gigs at McQ’s and keeping the local scene alive and kicking. Before that, she helped turn The Monarch into an award-winning venue — not by luck, by hard work and good taste (and she will remind you).
Knows the Dunfermline scene inside out. If something’s happening, she’s already ten steps ahead of it.
Also doubles as McQ's bouncer and will chuck you out if you take it too far.
