Birrell or Biscuit - The Love You Need

Releases 3/7/26

He's back! Two years off the rails. One song to come back on. Craig, spent two years off the radar after losing almost everything — his job, his home, the people closest to him. He came out the other side with nothing but his dog, Trevor, and a notebook. Previously played on BBC Radio 6 Music (Riley & Coe), The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio, Radio X, BBC Scotland, RTE and more, and spun by Rodney on the Rock, Birrell or Biscuit is back from the brink with “The Love You Need” — his first release since, written from inside that period rather than looking back at it from a safe distance. It’s the lead single from his new EP Lament, out on his own label, Whanga Records. This isn’t a comeback in the marketing sense. It’s a reclamation.

“The Love You Need” is mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Stefan Brown and co-produced with Jason Shaw of Fuzz Face Studios. The track features Ned Scott of The Egg on synths and Col Brennan (The Valkarys) on bass — a lineup that came together after Birrell recruited Scott mid-show while supporting Youth (Killing Joke). Birrell or Biscuit has previously had airplay support from Radio X, BBC Scotland and RTE.

Ocean Views - The Battle of Dunfermline (ltd edition blue cassette album)

Released 18/2/26

Recorded live at McQ's, Dunfermline on December 12th 2025. Originally intended to be titled Live at McQ's, the album was later rechristened The Battle of Dunfermline - for reasons best untold. Captured on cassette, this is a raw, unfiltered document of a night where sweat, noise, and chaos collided. No polish, no safety net - just pure rock 'n' roll history.
